ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Chatfield Cleaning Limited is a contract cleaning company that carries out commercial cleaning (all aspects) to various office buildings, retail parks,
residential blocks, shopping centres and industrial parks.

Protection of the Environment in which we live and operate is part of
Chatfield Cleaning Limited’s values and principles and we consider it
to be sound business practice.

Care for the Environment is one of our key responsibilities and an
important part of the way in which we do business.

In this policy statement, we commit our company to:

Comply with all relevant environmental legislation, regulations and
approved codes of practice.

Protect the environment by striving to prevent and minimise our
contribution to pollution of land, air and water.

Seek to keep wastage to a minimum and maximise the efficient use of
materials and resources.

Use only environmentally friendly products and material where possible.

Managing and disposing of all waste in a responsible manner.

Providing training for our staff so that we work in accordance with this
policy and within an environmentally aware culture.

Developing our management process to ensure that environmental factors
are considered during planning and implementation.

Monitoring and continuously improving our environmental performance.

The policy statement will be regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.
The management team endorses these policy statements and is fully
Committed to their implementation.

Objectives:

We have started to replace our vehicles with more environmentally friendly,
fuel-efficient types. Our first dual gas/petrol van has been purchased.
Vehicles due for renewal will be subject to the above.

We aim to encourage our clients to be more responsible in the recycling of
waste and endeavour to assist them in achieving this goal. As a certificated waste transfer carrier, we aim for all of our clients to have access to our recycling services.

The company will switch to one provider, Evans Vanodine International Plc that is Environmental Management System ISO 14001 Quality Assured. This company is winner of best environmental award. All of our cleaning materials will be from this provider.

All paper products will be certified recycled
